Saffron tea recipe
Like most herbal teas, it really is the simplest thing in the world.
- Take a pinch of saffron.
- Add water.
- Add a slice of ginger (if desired) and cook for 5 minutes.
- Strain and serve, with a slice of lemon if you like.
- Then fill in those threads for another row.
You can sweeten saffron tea with honey, or with sugar, but preferably with honey is healthier.
You can also spice up your saffron tea with cinnamon or cardamom. But whatever you do, don't add milk to it, it will completely ruin the glorious aroma and taste of your saffron tea.
