I am Anahita FerdousI was born in 1993 and, although I now live in France, my heart is deeply connected to Afghanistan. When the Taliban took control of my homeland, I felt a deep distance, an emotional chasm that went beyond physical separation. I knew I had to find a way to stay connected to the culture and people I love so much.

And so Aromanew was born. My mission was clear: to bring the essence of Afghan saffron to France, offering not just a spice, but a part of the soul of my homeland. At Aromanew, we don't just bring saffron; we offer a story of resistance, tradition and hope.

From the fields of Afghanistan to your table, our saffron tells a story of dedication. We work directly with local farmers, including brave Afghan women who carry on the ancient art of saffron cultivation. These women are not only skilled labourers, but also the keepers of an ancient tradition handed down from generation to generation.

For me, saffron is more than just a spice; it is a bridge between my past and my present. Each delicate thread carries with it a piece of Afghanistan, connecting you to a world full of rich flavours and deep cultural heritage.
